Online Selling Should I sell On Multiple Platforms?

Sitting there Picking Your Nose Isn't going to get you far. Learning what works best for you and your lifestyle IS!
Monkey Is Sold

Vintage Monkey Picks his Nose
Over the years,
I have had the wonderful experience of Getting to Know New and Old Sellers.
Each of us have always Had this One Question!
Should I Open myself up to Other Selling Sites?

 YES YES YES!

Figuring out Which sites to Invest Your Valuable time in IS the Ultimate Question.
One I have NOT figured out as of yet. I Honestly Do not know if Any Seller, New or Old can answer that Question.
There are Pros and Cons to each selling site.
Figuring out which of these sites are Going to Support You and your goals is the Best way for you to get to your individual solution.

I myself have a website which links to all of my selected selling sites along with an active portable paypoint I can accept payments Via Phone transfers.
You know, Incase I'm wearing one of my pendulums and someone wants to buy it they can right there on the spot.

Back to the Issue, There are Sites that Trend, they are up and running for a few days, months, a year or so, then Poof ~ GONE! Along with ALL Your hard work, time and Money spent to list on those sites!

I tend to Value my Time over All

So I stick with Ebay and Bonanza, they are my GOTO Income selling sites
On ebay I have 2 selling pages, 1 for Oddities (Which I Love) and the other for Clothing (um Not so Much in the Loving area)
On Bonanza EVERYTHING is Listed together and the Link, exposure, ect Never end.

Why Do I list Clothing on a different page on ebay and not along with my Odds and Ends page?

Mainly, it's all due to feedback and the audience or Customers.
Clothes are a Tough Sell!
People tend to NOT read descriptions to much anymore these days.
Pictures are what sells the items.
People are Wanting a design or a Designer and Immediately Snatch up that item you have listed.
Turn around rates are More and More in the clothing area than in my other Oddity page.

I recently received a Negative rating on a pair of shoes I sold.
Even though, all over the description, the title, the Pictures Showed the Shoe Size and the fact they were Vintage Shoes with a Classic style, the buyer had decided she wanted to return the pair.
Her Reason: Oh No They Can't be a Classic Fit! They don't fit me. I'd like to return them.

I'm sorry, If they were damaged, not as shown, ect.. I could have justified her buyers remorse.
But, The shoes Are what they are, and Not knowing your shoe sz but yet purchasing a pair.
Leaving Me with a -$30 in the account.
I'm Sorry for your foot not being a sz 9.5, I thought that perhaps that would be the first thing a person would know.
So I took the negative.

Now Yes, This negative hit my feedback score.
Yes, Feedback scores Hurt, Not only in the personal area, but also in your ebay traffic!
Ebay does Not like their sellers taking a Negative. Their views on the situation, Do what ever you can as a seller to keep on that High Performance Ranking or Lose ALL of your Traffic.
If I would have Listed the clothing that may or may not fit or be up to the expectations of the buyer
(USED translates to Many as BRAND SPANKING NEW)
My Fun Account, My Oddities would have taken that hit And that my dears is why I have 2 accounts.
Clothes are higher Returners vs. My Odds That People Just Love!

Fair? Unfair? Regardless... You are paying ebay to List your items on their site with the Idea that they are going to help you Make them Money.
The More a Seller gives in to Losing Money, Paying Money and Just Balancing out is their goal.

But ebay is the fastest way to get sales Moving and this is Why I am a Seller on the bay.
I still Must do my Own Footwork to get my items Shown and Seen and Out the Door.

Bonanza is a Fabulous Fun and Easy place to Keep Everything Online and Able to be found in Google Shopping. All Of my 500+ Items can be found on my Bonanza Site All Year Round until Sold. I am Only charged to List on this site when the Item is Sold so That is my #1 requirement as a Profitable Seller.
I am Not in this game for Feedback alone.
I am In this game to support my many other Life Avenues I have going on in the background.

Gaining Loads of feedback Is Worth a Long Term Successful Selling Goal, but I can not afford to pay others Just to get a Number added to my score and Give away what I have.

On Bonanza My Items are 100% of the time Sold for What I am Asking.
I do not have issues with bartering and getting low offers on items that are of Value.

So Yes, Sell on Several Platforms
My advice to you, Keep it fun, active, and Affordable.
This is a Hobby, Career, Money Game.
Do Not be easily Offended, Do not be Rude, Selling Involves Communications.
Your Sales all depend on You, Your attitude of Listing and Responses are Key.

* By the way, anyone telling you that there is a Get Rich Fast with Online selling,, Are Blowing smoke up your ass.
Just a bit of knowledge from someone who's been there, done that.
