He was Once a throw away by his Breeders
He was Thrown Away at my neighbors Yardsale
Tossed out of the car onto the sidewalk

At the Vets being told to put him down
Poor Guy could barely lift his head

He had Parvo
But we did not know that
All we Knew was that he was heading to the pound as a 1 month old Pitbull

So of course we took him in
With little hopes to keep him
He was Placed on my husbands pillow as my husband was napping
He woke up to this little guy Pouring his blood all over my bed and beside my husbands head.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!
He had PARVO!

After A Vet visit ~ Being told to put him down ~ $1400 or so, (My house payment)
2 weeks & a lot of tears later,
The little guy survived & We as a family learned a lot about how to use IV's

This is Zeus almost 10 days Later

A few more days later!

He's up walking around!
Now we are on the phone with an MMA fighter
Who Offered to Provide The High Protein Diet he needed to get 100% again
That's when the cop showed up

Parvo
Parvo is an Intestinal Virus
This virus eats the internal lining of the intestines,
The virus does NOT kill the animal
The Starvation, Loss of blood & Dehydration Kills the animal

If you can keep the animal Hydrated & Cleaned of blood
It can Survive
It is a lot of work but It is do able

(STUPID PEOPLE! STUPID BACKYARD BREEDERS)
I will NOT be sorry for my anger towards the STUPIDS who
Think of NO One or Nothing other than Themselves!

After Zeus was healed up, his previous owners sent the cops to my house demanding him back.
I showed the cop the vet bills, the picture he requested and he (Thank God) Sided with us.
His words were
Legally, You have to give the dog back
But you have had him for over 3 months, Racked up Bills for him.
They will have to take you to court & Prove through DNA that he belongs to them
They do not have any vet bills for any of their dogs.
So that will be difficult for them
The cop Knew, this dog was going to be used as a breeder/fight dog.
and Morally could NOT put this dog back in their hands.
I truly appreciate this man, Most cops would not even want to deal with this kind of drama.
He'll Never know how much I appreciate him

an Upcycle DIY Project Newest DIY Project Music Doll Lamp

 A Musical Doll
w/ a music box in her stand
I've never heard the song before
It's very pretty

She has been offered Online now for about a year or so
and it seems Like No One can figure out an Upcycle DIY Project for her.
So I think She will Be my Newest Project

She's wearing a hair net to keep her hair nice
She is Ceramic head & Limbs

The doll is approx 6-7 inches tall
I do not have any other information about her

I think she needs to be on a Pillar of sorts,
Or may be as a bookend for a Victorian Style Kids Bedroom?
She is A Musical Doll

One More Cat On The Spay List, Ferals & Strays

Strays being dumped
This one We call Stinky
(We Feed him because he is a stray (DUMPED)
Left for dead ~ Piss Me OFF STUPID WOMAN!~
He's very sick
But he was Worse 2 weeks ago
We still could NOT capture him though
He is a Stray NOT a Feral

The woman raises (Saves the kittens) Then Throws them away When they are no longer cute!
Leaving Us with watching them die or survive

This year has been extra hard getting these strays neutered / spayed. I've been relying on sales instead of doing the fundraising through my friends & family.

There is a woman from a neighborhood street Over who has been DUMPING off Kittens lately

Her count is up to 4 now.

This is one of the first of the DUMPED Babies
I had left it out front It was crying for the mamma
I thought maybe it was from one of the ferals
I left it alone for nature to take it's course
It got quite
I walked out to check
King Ralph was in the beginning of the killing of the baby
I took the baby away from King Ralph
Brought it inside
Gave it a bottle w/ Kitten formula
It took to the bottle Immediately
That's how I realized It had been bottle fed before
FREAKING STUPID BI*CH
QUIT DROPPING OFF THE BABIES!

3 days later

Eyes are opening

We've named him Toby (Satan for short)

He is a feisty little F**Ker.

Sucks on the fats of my hands first thing in the morning

He's Now much bigger
Still waiting to be adopted

It's literally making me sick.

Finances have run Pencil Lead thin
But she managed to find a way!
No MORE BABIES!

Oh, the cat was neither In Heat or Pregnant on the day she went in for her spay
I am Putting up the video camera out front along with a sign of Being Taped Acknowledgement
For the Woman who has been dumping the cats.
IF & When she is On video,
I will be reporting her for animal abuse to the Maricopa county Sheriff office

He has gone over to the other house across the street with all of the other ferals
I hope she's feeding them or at least they are all teaching this beautiful cat how to capture his food!

I found a bag of old potatoes rotting in my pantry!
I do not know how I ever missed that bag!
Well I pulled it out of the closet & ended up tripping over it, Stepping into it~
I'm wondering Hum.. Since they are already rooting & stemming,,,, Should I replant them?

We went from a horrible Coral colored rock landscape, Pale Horrid cacti that attached themselves to Everything they could, creating A very Unapproachable Front yard.

Who wants to enjoy the evening when being covered with cacti needles and walking on toe cutting stones! Not to mention the goat heads that would grow up through the stones!

I was de weeding the front yard every 3 months, with NO Help!
Talk about ruining your fingernails to the bone!

These stones are Finally a thing of the past!
And it's only taken me about 10 years, 1 Trip to the Hospital and 2 emergency surgeries!

De - stoning the yard was one of the factors that had sent me into the hospital But I have got it done!

I have a color goal I'm looking forward to producing, all plants will be low water to no water (conserve people) and Instead of Grass, I'm thinking sand or mulch pathways in between the plants! 

This way If I decide to add a Ground cover plant, I'll be able to later and still NOT have to mow!

I really wanted lavendar to fill my yard but after 3 attempts, I'll not go there again this year.

My yard is still outrageous as I sit here, but It is Growing and blooming into what It is going to be!

I'm so excited!!  Here are a few of the colors I've added since being out of the hospital. 

The pictures are NOT my Pictures, They are being used just to show what colors & Types of plants that are Low water in Arizona. They are a bit messy but I Love the colors all over the ground when the blooms leave the branch.

This yard started in April of 2012
~~~Tell You what After all the work I've put into this, The world Better Not end on Dec 21 or whatever..
Which it won't but just saying~~~

This photo is Years after removing the rocks
I got hurt and was Unable to do Anything That had to do with Lifting &
my guts falling out
But This time gave my Evergreens (Drought resistant) Time to grow!

All I can think of is my Poor Neighbors Having to look at this for so long
The 2 bushes are NOW (11/12) Finally Growing!
Soon they will be the same height as the others
In this photo below, I have set up the small Cement block Wall
In front of the window bushes

I've added the first Bougvilla Bush

(Drought resistant)
This one is a deep red
Pulled in my Az Sedona Boulders
And as the weed barrier, I've used Old cat & dog food bags
Lined under a black fabric tarp

Here You can see my Mess

But it is a Mess in Progress
The cement Cylinders are being used to create a mound around the base of the bushes
In the fore ground are Purple something or others
They are very small right now Less than a foot tall
But hey I got them 3 for $10
So I've got time, and they will grow into 8ft tall by 5ft wide A Natural
Low Water Drought resistant Living wall
Between My house and the neighbors!

I can start working on the center of the yard and covering all of the Black Tarps
I'm Not sure YET of what Plants I will be using
But they will be Set so that I can have a circle in the center of the yard where

Just To Be In the Moment of it
