I have this Love in my Home and for as Long as he needs to be here for.
I Love Cemetaries and Places of Peace Like Old Churches.
I found him on one of my Charity Store Frenzies.
But could he have been once a Headstone Piece?
I'll never know.
Whats he mean to you? Is there a Spark? A Story? Are you the one In Search Of?
Of the Items I've been Finding More than Likely This Piece once sat in a Church on a pillar.
The only reason I come to that conclusion is because of the other items he was bundled up with.

Japanese Plate Dish Unique Shape Painting of Ononokomachi

I Like to Document some of the Rare items I find During my Treasure hunting.
Here is a Dish that has Recently sold to a Buyer in Ohio.
In this post, is just a bit of information I have found out about the piece and the Image shown on it.
Just in case, You have one and have been searching for Details of what you hold in your hands.

Unique Shaped Celebration dish
Porcelain decorated with the figure of Ononokomachi painted brilliant enamels
Golden paint around sides of dish
These dishes are often given as Gifts to children during the holidays
There is a makers mark on the bottom I am not familiar with
The measurements are approx. 6inches at it's widest parts, (wider than a ladies hand)

Research found about the Story of Lady On Dish
This unusual dish is in the shape of a Heian court lady, identified by her sumptuous, multilayered attire and flowing black hair. The Heian period occurred several centuries before this piece was made, but was remembered as a high point in Japanese culture. It was a time of vibrant court life, when court ladies were becoming involved in literary pursuits; the beauty Ono no Komachi was composing poetry at this time, and the author Murasaki Shikibu penned her famous novel The Tale of Genji. People of the Edo period, when this dish was made, would have recognized a Heian noblewoman's appearance from the beautiful handscrolls that depicted stories from that era.

I have been to many places this past week! Enjoying the Company of so many different people.
It is a Wonderful thing to be part of others and their Worlds!
To be Misunderstood But yet Cherished by all those who accept as I do.

Let me tell you a story on one of the visits I got to share excitement with!

My husband is a Valued Electrician! One of the Best!
His brother needed a bit of help to install a dryer outlet in his New house!
Which I got to hang out with Kim and Share her excitement on the Amazement her life
Has become.
A Marvelous Woman!
Now Mind You, I may come off as Nosey, But that's not what I'm about.
I ask I focus I feel I entertain I Love I Celebrate ALL That is You in your Wonderful Life!
Lets not focus on the Rough tough roads behind us! Yes we must look at those, but only to Celebrate where we have come to.
We cannot Live in the Domain of what once was, We Find our happy Place and Continue to live That!

I got down to What she did and does for a living & in turn, I got to show her the things I do.
I Hunt down & Resell.
Mainly things I feel are Oddities or Creepy or you know, out of the ordinary.
I showed her this Doll as an Example

Her eyes got huge and she began telling me a story about her Mother & a Doll Identical to this, Cut hair and All.
Her Mother once owned a doll like this, Kim remembers playing with it as a child. I'm sure so many memories came rushing back to her as she looked at the picture. What a Beautiful Moment to share with someone.

She was in Suppose to inherit her mothers doll, but the mother sold it years ago.

She just sat there in her memories for a bit, In her New house, with her beautiful achievements,  Commited relationships, Happiness!
This is Wonderful to me! Because Kim IS right now in the process of That day Moving into her house! And the Doll of her Childhood Memories shows up On My Phone for her to see.

There is a Huge Spiritual Message in this Moment
Of course I do not fully understand what she took out of the amazement of the Moment, But to me, I understood this; We May Get spun around many times in Life, Feeling like we have made mistakes or hurt others and have that regret. But all in all, those "Mistakes" "Rough Rides" "Bad Decisions" Lead us Right up to Now. Where Something of our past Links Us to our Now & WE ARE SHOWN.

This doll may not be around much longer in my shop, I have a feeling a connection may have been made already and will be placed in her New home very shortly.
