Here is a Story as to why these wood carvings are Precious

There are Many of us Bully Adorers That Understand the Breeds and their Need
For Pack Loyalty.

My Zues was a Rescue.
A LITERAL RESCUE!

Many know his story,
Our neighbors were having a yardsale when a car pulled up.
A Man Got out of his car with the pup in hand.
The dumper walked up to my neighbor and pushed the pup into his hands as the dumper said
"TAKE THIS" and LEFT!
The neighbor I suppose was In shock that someone would just do this.
The dumping happened just that fast.
The neighbor then did the same to my daughter in law.
She then Did the same to me as then I did to my husband.
Who in turn said GET THIS DOG OUT OF HERE, IT'S SICK!

UGH! Now WE Ended up with an ALMOST DEAD Pup!

So Off to the vet my son and I ran.
I had NO Money whats so Ever to invest into saving a Random dogs life.
I do not qualify for Credit Ect.
The vet said You have 2 choices,
I Suggest You have him PUT TO SLEEP
HE HAS PARVO
Or You can let us TRY for $3500
HOLY SHIT!
So,,, What can one do?
I Looked at the pup and heard
NO. I'M NOT DEAD
so Trusting this is REAL and not just being INSANE

I asked the vet for Saline IV bags and how to take care of this myself.

Long story Short

PARVO IS AN INTESTINAL VIRUS
It Removes the intestinal lining causing the blood everywhere
During this Process The Animal CAN AND WILL DIE OF DEHYDRATION & STARVATION
All You have to do is IV the dog for Hydration and Try to get some sort of food in it.
I suggest Rice and chicken BABY FOOD

Every day Morning Noon and Night You will be Bleaching Door knobs, floors, walls
You will be mopping floors, wearing disposable gloves and booties
You will Later dispose OF EVERY Blanket Toy Ever used by this animal during the 2 weeks it takes for the recovery.

Let me Tell  you about this little guy

Sadly I Found him at a Local Charity Shop
For about a year I could not find anything out about him,
I could not read his tag because of the language barrier.
Who Knew he is a Type of Bread!
At this time it was strange to me that a cartoon character would be a part of the food group
But now after considering it, VeggieTales isn't far off.
As with most of my items I research for a history not only for value reasons, but because there are those out there (like myself) who are curious to what they find.
So here goes

The Creation of Kogepan

Kogepan is a burnt small bread with a depressed personality.

Character History

Being one of another innovative San-X characters, Kogepan, is very much distinctive than other collectibles of this Japanese Company. The character is a burnt bread, located in one of the Japanese bakeries, where Kogepan lives with the attempt of making friends with the other numerous breads shielded there.

The addressing name of the character Kogepan is the authentic derivation from “kogeru” stating burn or scorch, along with another Portuguese term “gairaigo” which means bread. Thus together the name of character means burn-bread- absolutely matching the product’s appearance.

Appearance

Supposedly Kogepan was top quality red bean bread filled with Hokkaido red bean, and there as a limit set to produce only 20 pieces of these breads on a daily basis. But, it was on a particular day, when at the bakery it was massively baked to the burning state, which made it appear droopy. The burn was lousy, alerting the eyes of Kogepan to circular white spots, associated with an uninteresting expressionless face structure. Following, this very incident altered its life greatly, and it turned into depressed small bread, preserving a negative thinking of its life.

Though, at times when Kogepan again regain the lost passion in its life, it never tends to exist for a longer time, as when Kogepan starts liking it again fades away with uninvited depression.

Companions of Kogepan

Furthermore, in the Japanese bakery house there are similar characters accompanying Kogepan, such as: ichigopan - strawberry filled delicious bread - made in limited pieces seasonally, kireipan fabulous bread, Kuriimupan - cream filled bread - which sometimes deeply hurts Kogepan’s feeling, although it happens unintentionally, and lastly Sumipan - one such bread which is even more burnt than Kogepan. These are breads as companions to Kogepan in the departed bakery.

The Kogepan characters are largely located in children books, school stationaries, with other numerous items.
